I've been 26 for about a week and a few days and I feel the same as I did at 25, 24, 23...

Somedays I don't feel like an adult.

haha.

When we're not doing anything fancy I suspect arnab and I look like typical California folk.

The Office ended Thursday night and arnab and I could not have been more sad.

We started watching the show early in it's second season and haven't stopped since.

[We've even re-watched seasons on Netflix.]

So you can imagine how sad it is for us that the show ended and how very weird it will be without any new episodes to air.

I keep saying, it's just like when Friends and Harry Potter {the novels} ended.

So anyway, that's why I wanted our post title to be a quote from the show.

And this one, that Jim says to Dwight, is a classic.

So this weekend was a busy one!

On Saturday night arnab and I went out to celebrate my birthday with our friends.

I adore my friends!

We had dinner and dessert (at Taste [on Melrose] and Crave, respectively.)

On Sunday we took our parents out to dinner at Cafe Carolina for Mother's Day. 

A lovely weekend, overall, I would say.

Growing up, our parent's took us to a lot of dinners and parties, many where arnab and I were the only kids.

Thankfully we had each other to stay entertained, some kids aren't so lucky.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're gonna have kids, for their sake 1. have more than 1 and 2. have them close together.
I'm just sayin'.

the things we do are never going to change

 Hey guys!

As I write this up we're watching the last episodes of The Office and I'm getting sadder and sadder as the series finale comes closer and closer.

It's Friends all over again!

I keep hearing the Dunder Mifflin song that they made up in the show in my head, haha.

P.s. We've been having extra crazy weather here in L.A.

It's wreaking having on the poor kids I work with.

Not to mention, though a lot less important, it's hell trying to predict what the weather will be like and how to dress for the day.

I'm wearing my handy dandy vintage polka dotted skirt.
It is my spring, summer, and fall skirt.

arnab just recently purcahsed a few pairs of shorts at a Levi's store for super super cheap.
He told me I was evil for covincing him to get them but 1. (again) super cheap, 2. Levi's shorts tend to be on the cute side, and 3. they're wonderful for our warm/hot days.
So.
I think a 'thank you, dear sister' is in order.
